   Proposal Description:
   The proposed research will examine the association between baseline neuropsychiatric symptoms and dementia severity. Specifically, looking at if having baseline neuropsychiatric symptoms while considered cognitively normal is associated with disease severity later in life. Through evaluating this association, we will be able to consider the role of neuropsychiatric symptoms as potential prodromal symptoms or warning symptoms to dementia severity. With the potential ability of these symptoms to be an early warning sign of dementia severity this could alter the way we view and therefore treat the onset of dementia.
